Automobile Glass Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automobile Glass Technician to join our team. You'll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing automobile glass components with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damaged glass and determine the appropriate repair or replacement method.
• Remove old glass and prepare the vehicle's frame for the new installation.
• Apply sealants and adhesives as required to ensure secure installation.
• Test repaired or replaced glass for functionality and safety.
• Engage with customers to discuss repair needs and provide transparent service.
• Order necessary parts and materials as needed for repairs.
• Report directly to the Service Manager on daily activities and any issues encountered.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in automotive repair or related fields preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Glass repair techniques

Certifications

• Advanced Automotive Technology Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
