Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sail Cutter who will be responsible for cutting and shaping sails using various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sail cutting and a passion for maritime craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sewing team to ensure seamless transitions between cutting and assembly.
• Participate in quality control inspections to uphold high standards.
• Document cutting processes and material requirements for each project.
• Set up and calibrate cutting machines as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Tertiary qualification in a related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in sail fabrication or marine textile work.

Technical Skills

• Sewing Skills
• CAD Software Familiarity

• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using CAD software for sail design: Hands-on experience with CAD software to create sail layouts.
• Experience with sail repair and maintenance: Ability to repair and maintain sails after production.
