Job Description

As a Photonics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced optical systems and devices. You'll apply your expertise in optics and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive product innovation across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project specifications.
• Develop simulation models for optical systems.
• Evaluate system performance metrics and implement necessary enhancements.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Research new materials and technologies in optics and photonics.
• Document all design processes and iterations for regulatory compliance.
• Work with external vendors for optical components and system integration.
• Develop prototypes for new optical devices and conduct relevant testing.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all engineering activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Optics or a related discipline preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in optics or photonics engineering
