Job Description

The Materials Planner will oversee material availability, ensuring production needs are met and inventory levels are optimized. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with suppliers and production teams, manage logistics and develop effective inventory strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to identify and mitigate supply constraints.
  • Analyse production data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
  • Ensure logistics activities support timely delivery of materials and goods.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in materials planning or a related supply chain role
Technical Skills
  • SAP

Certifications
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
