Load Dispatcher

Job Description

The Load Dispatcher will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of electricity across the power grid. They will oversee the allocation of resources and ensure optimal energy delivery to customers while maintaining operational safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the energy load and generation across the network in real-time.
• Identify and resolve any energy load issues or abnormalities.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement energy load management strategies.
• Maintain records of energy dispatch activities for regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior dispatch staff.
• Utilize SCADA systems for effective network monitoring.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional certification in power systems preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in energy dispatch or load management.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of renewable energy sources

Languages

• English: Fluent
