Job Description

As an Urban Planner at Urban Innovations Australia, you'll have the opportunity to influence city development and improve urban spaces. Your role will involve collaborating with local councils, stakeholders, and community members to develop sustainable and innovative urban designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate urban planning projects from conception to completion.
  • Analyze demographic data to inform planning decisions.
  • Advise on environmental sustainability in urban design.
  • Facilitate workshops and public engagement sessions.
  • Prepare and submit applications for planning approvals.
  • Research and implement best practices in urban planning.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and environmental consultants.
  • Implement urban revitalization initiatives.
  • Develop strategies for community engagement.
  • Evaluate the impact of projects on the surrounding environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in urban planning or related fields
