Cheesemaking Laborer

Job Description

The Cheesemaking Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality cheese products. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cheesemaker in daily operations and production planning.
• Help in the operation and cleaning of cheese production equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and record findings.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.
• Assist in maintaining product inventories and quality records.
• Participate actively in health and safety training and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience working with cheese or other dairy products is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Sanitation practices
• Food processing equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Flexibility and adaptability
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Forklift License (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality control: Prior experience in ensuring product quality during production.
• Ability to conduct basic equipment maintenance: Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery.
