Job Description

We are seeking a Grinding and Polishing Worker who is capable of sharpening and maintaining hand tools for our metalworking operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and experience in using various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform grinding and polishing of hand tools such as chisels, planes, and blades to required specifications.
• Inspect tools for wear and tear, identifying when repairs or replacements are necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling tools and equipment.
• Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of tools and sharpening equipment.
• Assist in training junior staff on tool maintenance and safety practices.
• Participate in team meetings to identify workflow improvements.
• Support quality assurance initiatives within the production team.
• Document maintenance activities for safety and compliance audits.
