Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Management Director to lead our crisis response initiatives. The ideal candidate will coordinate emergency management activities, develop and implement response plans, and provide crucial support to affected communities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage emergency operations and direct response teams during incidents.
  • Develop comprehensive emergency plans tailored to specific community needs.
  • Facilitate interagency cooperation and resource sharing.
  • Implement training programs to enhance staff capabilities.
  • Review and update emergency protocols regularly.
  • Lead community outreach initiatives to educate the public on preparedness.
  • Assess training and operational needs for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in emergency drills and readiness assessments.
  • Liaise with government bodies for legislative compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety and preparedness in the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or related field
  • Advanced training in crisis communication preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in emergency management or related role
