Job Description

As a Refuse and Recyclable Material Collector, you will play a vital role in our operations by collecting waste from residential and commercial properties throughout Sydney. The ideal candidate is physically fit and committed to maintaining public health standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate collection of waste and recyclables.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines while operating heavy machinery.
• Engage with the community to promote recycling and responsible waste disposal.
• Maintain records of waste collection operations and report any irregularities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient routes and service delivery.
• Utilize hand tools like shovels and brooms for manual collection when necessary.
• Participate in regular safety meetings to discuss operational improvements.
• Support the training of new staff in safe waste collection practices.

Experience

• No previous experience required, but experience in waste management or driving is advantageous.
