Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Aid Coordinator to provide essential administrative and financial support to students applying for financial aid. This role involves liaising with students, staff, and external organisations to ensure efficient processing of financial aid applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process scholarship and grant applications.
  • Assist students in understanding their financial aid options.
  • Implement and maintain financial aid management systems for efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver financial literacy education programmes for students.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Conduct audits of financial aid records as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous training to stay updated on financial aid policies.
  • Coordinate with external agencies when necessary for financial aid matters.
  • Support students through the appeals process as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accounting or Sociology
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in financial aid administration or similar roles
