Job Description

The Chief Sustainability Officer will develop and implement sustainability initiatives to enhance the organisation's impact on the environment. This role requires a passion for sustainability, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders in promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Communicate sustainability vision and strategies to all stakeholders.
• Ensure engagement with customers and suppliers on sustainable practices.
• Review and update sustainability policies and strategies regularly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate sustainability into business operations.
• Identify and monitor trends in sustainability and environmental regulations.
• Foster a company culture of sustainability and social responsibility.
• Design and implement training programs for staff on sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field
• Relevant professional certification

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing sustainability projects

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
