Job Description

As a Medical Equipment Repairer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our medical devices are safe and functioning effectively. Your expertise in maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment will directly impact the quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and calibration of medical devices.
• Carry out thorough inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards.
• Identify and resolve malfunctions with precision and skill.
• Maintain compliance with industry safety regulations.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and assist in procurement.
• Educate staff on the functionality and maintenance of equipment.
• Document all repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with vendors to optimize service delivery and maintenance support.
• Research and implement best practices in biomedical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications in medical technology is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Ability to read technical manuals
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time management

Certifications

• ISO standards certification
• Advanced CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
