As a Bone Char Kiln Operator, you will handle the operation of the kiln, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety protocols. Your expertise in maintaining equipment and managing production records will be crucial in our sugar refining process.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation of the bone char kiln to produce high-quality char.
Ensure all materials are processed following company standards.
Adjust kiln settings to optimize production and quality.
Conduct inspections and perform maintenance on kiln equipment.
Document production data and maintain logs.
Adhere to safety protocols and encourage a safety-first culture.
Assist in training new operators on kiln operations.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with the maintenance team on equipment upgrades.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to management immediately.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Trade certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in kiln operation and maintenance.
