We are looking for an experienced Terra Cotta Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation and repair of architectural elements using terra cotta materials. Your keen eye for detail and extensive knowledge of masonry techniques will enable you to deliver high-quality results. You will collaborate with architects and designers to bring their visions to life, ensuring each project meets our rigorous standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Create and install decorative and functional terra cotta elements.
• Review construction drawings to select appropriate designs.
• Shape and mould terra cotta materials precisely per specifications.
• Mix and apply mortar for effective installation.
• Regularly clean and organise tools for efficient workflow.
• Inspect work for quality assurance and rectify any issues.
• Work closely with architects to ensure design accuracy.
• Follow all safety procedures and building regulations.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements in terra cotta work.
• Assist in training junior staff and apprentices.

Requirements

Education

• Qualifications in Construction Management are advantageous

Experience

• Proven experience in architectural terra cotta projects is preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced masonry skills
• Blueprint reading

Languages

• English: Fluent
