The ideal candidates will demonstrate empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your role will involve providing essential support in various public and private settings, allowing our clients to experience independence and confidence in their daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Escort clients to appointments and social engagements.
• Provide instructions and guidance tailored to the client's capabilities.
• Help clients utilise public transport when necessary, ensuring they are comfortable.
• Maintain an upbeat attitude to positively influence the client's experience.
• Assist in the preparation of any required documentation for outings.
• Foster a safe environment by being aware of surroundings and potential hazards.
• Support clients in maintaining healthy habits during outings.
• Encourage clients to participate in community activities.
• Provide feedback to improve service delivery based on client experiences.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to health and safety.

• Familiarity with local public transport: Knowledge of local transport systems to aid clients in navigating travel.
• Training in disability support services: Completed training relating to support services for individuals with disabilities.
