Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and assist in monitoring during procedures.
• Conduct health assessments and communicate findings to the veterinarian.
• Perform dental cleanings and minor surgical procedures under supervision.
• Assist with euthanasia and provide compassionate care to owners.
• Educate pet owners on preventative care and nutrition.
• Support inventory management, including ordering supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to practice improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary environment
