Job Description

The Biometric Fingerprinting Technician will play a crucial role in capturing, analysing, and interpreting biometric fingerprint data for multiple purposes, including but not limited to criminal investigations and background checks. This position demands precision, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement best practices for capturing and analysing fingerprint data.
  • Assist in the design and update of fingerprint databases.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies that enhance fingerprint analysis efficiency.
  • Provide training to law enforcement personnel on the use of biometric tools.
  • Support audits and ensure quality assurance in fingerprinting processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science, Criminology or related field
Experience
  • Experience working in a law enforcement or security-related field.
Technical Skills
  • Fingerprint analysis software

Certifications
