Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to drive the design and implementation of cloud solutions in our Canberra office. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and possess a knack for problem-solving in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and training for stakeholders on cloud best practices.
• Monitor cloud performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimise CI/CD pipelines.
• Assess and recommend cloud tools and platforms to streamline processes.
• Provide strategic insights on cloud trends to upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud solutions role

Technical Skills

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• CI/CD Pipelines

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• DevOps Practices: Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Database Management: Experience with managing databases in cloud environments, particularly AWS RDS and Azure SQL.
