We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Manager to lead our operations in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a robust understanding of safety compliance, ensuring the smooth functioning of our railroad inspection and maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage performance reviews for your team.
• Ensure that safety audits are conducted regularly.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Direct compliance training programs for new team members.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track operational success.
• Address and resolve any disputes or issues within the team promptly.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Assist in budget management and cost control initiatives.
• Implement technology solutions for tracking and reporting.
• Work directly with the Director of Railroad Maintenance on strategic initiatives.

Advantageous

• Experience in quality control and assurance: Familiarity with quality assurance processes in transportation.
• Experience in railroad car design and development: Background in the design aspects of railroad cars is desirable.
