Responsibilities

• Evaluate the fit of garments on clients, making necessary alterations for a precision fit.
• Collaborate with the design team on custom pieces and alterations.
• Keep a detailed log of client preferences and specifications.
• Assist in garment construction when needed.
• Train junior tailors or apprentices in fitting techniques and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Australian Certificate III in Clothing Production or equivalent
• Experience in high-end fashion alterations is a plus

Experience

• Experience working with a range of fabrics and types of clothing.
