Job Description

A Freight Adjuster plays a pivotal role in managing claims related to freight damage. The successful candidate will handle investigations, negotiate settlements, and maintain strong relationships with clients and firms in the logistics and insurance sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the assessment of freight damage and oversee the claims process from initiation to resolution.
• Review documentation and claims submissions to ensure compliance with policies.
• Conduct in-depth investigations and provide detailed reports on claims.
• Facilitate discussions between insurers and affected parties to achieve timely resolutions.
• Utilize claims management software and tools to streamline workflows.
• Prepare and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of claims and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Certification in claims management or relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in claims management or a related field
