Join Adventure Learning Co. as an Outdoor Educator, where you'll design and lead outdoor programs tailored to diverse groups. Your role will involve fostering a love for nature while developing teamwork and leadership skills among participants.

Responsibilities

• Lead outdoor programs designed for schools and community groups, adapting activities accordingly.
• Develop and implement educational content that promotes teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
• Ensure participant safety through diligent risk assessment and emergency response preparedness.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Conduct pre-trip briefings and post-trip debriefings to engage participants effectively.
• Mentor junior instructors and support staff during programs.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote programs and engage with local communities.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Recreation Management or a related field
• Additional certifications in outdoor skills are highly regarded

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably working with youth

Certifications

• Certified Outdoor Educator
