The Monotype Operator will be responsible for operating monotype machines to produce high-quality typefaces and other printed materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Set up monotype machines and manage production schedules.
• Verify the accuracy of printed materials against design specifications.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Assist with training junior staff on machine operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Printing Technology or related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in the printing industry.

Technical Skills

• Operation of monotype and other printing machines
• Knowledge of typography and design principles

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
