Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Sunshine Coast team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in civil engineering and experience in designing structures that are both innovative and safe. You will work closely with a team of engineers and architects to deliver outstanding engineering solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative designs for a variety of structural projects.
• Oversee the engineering design process from start to finish.
• Conduct calculations to ensure structural integrity and safety.
• Liaise with clients to gather project requirements and feedback.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports for assessment purposes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and codes.
• Manage the implementation of engineering solutions on-site.
• Collaborate with environmental engineers to promote sustainable designs.
• Review and improve upon existing engineering processes.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Professional accreditation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

• Structural Design Software
• Building Codes Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Engineer with Engineers Australia
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
