Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Central Processing Technician to support our medical team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing reusable medical instruments and equipment. This role requires great attention to detail and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process laboratory specimens with accuracy.
• Prepare specimens for analysis by performing necessary protocols.
• Enter test results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Participate in safety drills and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Assist in compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in medical technology or laboratory techniques

Experience

• Experience working with medical instruments in a healthcare setting.
