Job Description

We are on the lookout for an aerospace engineer to join our dynamic team in Alice Springs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and testing of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and innovative practices.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software for design and analysis of aerospace components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes.
• Analyze test data and develop performance metrics for systems.
• Assist in achieving certifications and compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in aerospace engineering practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an aerospace engineering role

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with composite materials: Knowledge and experience in working with composite materials for aerospace applications.
