Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester to join our dynamic cybersecurity team in Sydney. In this role, you will evaluate the security measures of our clients' systems and applications, identifying vulnerabilities and providing effective solutions. Your skills in penetration testing and risk assessment will be crucial to safeguarding sensitive information and enhancing overall security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to uncover security flaws.
• Advise on compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions for improvement.
• Liaise with development teams to enhance secure software development practices.
• Participate in security audits and compliance checks.
• Present findings to stakeholders and assist in remediating vulnerabilities.
• Research security tools and enhancements to improve testing efficiency.
• Mentor junior security analysts to foster growth within the team.
• Utilize a variety of security testing tools to achieve results.
• Coordinate with external vendors for advanced security solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field preferred
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on security assessments and consulting

• Vulnerability Management

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
