Job Description
As a Business Continuity Planner, you will oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans to ensure business resilience. Your role will involve identifying risks, evaluating business impact, and working closely with cross-functional teams to design robust processes.
Responsibilities
- Establish protocols for crisis management and disaster recovery.
- Engage in ongoing analysis to test and refine business continuity plans.
- Ensure documentation of all processes and incident reports.
- Act as a liaison with local emergency services and stakeholders.
- Conduct scenario planning exercises to test response effectiveness.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff on continuity planning.
- Evaluate the impact of changes in operations on business continuity.
- Report on plan implementation results and areas for improvement.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Additional certifications in business continuity are a plus
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
