Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Press Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. You will collaborate with team members, ensuring that each job meets our high standards and is completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and adjusting printing machines for specific jobs.
• Maintaining inventory of printing supplies and materials.
• Communicating with the production team to coordinate job timelines.
• Identifying and resolving any equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Conducting test prints and adjusting settings to achieve desired quality.
• Documenting production output and machinery performance.
• Training junior staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of apprenticeship in printing or related field

Experience

• Experience with digital printing technology is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Flexographic Printing
• Offset Printing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of color theory and management: Understanding of color management systems for accurate printing.
• Understanding of pre-press and finishing processes: Knowledge of processes prior to and following printing.
