Job Description
As a Memorial Counselor, you will provide bereavement support to families, helping them navigate the planning and organising of memorial services while respecting their wishes and needs.
Responsibilities
Meet with families to discuss their needs and preferences.
Coordinate all aspects of memorial services effectively.
Oversee the presentation of memorial services, including arrangements and logistics.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide ongoing support to families post-service.
Develop and implement community outreach initiatives.
Facilitate workshops on grief and bereavement if needed
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Grief Counselling or related field
Experience
Experience with diverse communities and cultures preferred.
