Job Description

As a Memorial Counselor, you will provide bereavement support to families, helping them navigate the planning and organising of memorial services while respecting their wishes and needs.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with families to discuss their needs and preferences.
  • Coordinate all aspects of memorial services effectively.
  • Oversee the presentation of memorial services, including arrangements and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to families post-service.
  • Develop and implement community outreach initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops on grief and bereavement if needed

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Grief Counselling or related field
Experience
  • Experience with diverse communities and cultures preferred.
