Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Gas Plant Operator to oversee and manage the efficient operation of gas processing equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas production and processing equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining site safety and equipment integrity.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response training.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Process Plant Operations or equivalent
• First Aid Certificate

Experience

• Experience in operating gas processing equipment and related facilities

Technical Skills

• Gas Measurement Equipment
• Safety Compliance

• Attention to Detail
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Certificate in Hazardous Materials Handling

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of High-pressure Gas Transmission Pipelines: Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of high-pressure pipelines.
• Certifications in Confined Space Entry: Necessary certifications for working in confined spaces.
