Job Description

As a Hat Blocker, you will be responsible for creating and designing custom hats for our clients, using various materials and techniques. This role requires a blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Block and shape hats using various techniques and equipment.
• Ensure that all hats meet the company's quality standards.
• Work closely with designers to bring their visions to life.
• Collaborate with the production team for timely delivery.
• Keep accurate records of all hat blocking activities.
• Maintain equipment and workspace in a clean manner.
• Assist in training junior team members.
• Engage in ongoing skills development workshops.
• Evaluate and propose new materials and tools.
• Support marketing and sales efforts through product knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training or apprenticeship in millinery or related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in hat making or a similar field
