Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Sydney team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit annual tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure asset depreciation is recorded.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial integrity.
• Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting.
• Assist in financial risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge on compliance.
• Lead specific projects aimed at financial improvement.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
