Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Blind Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, a deep understanding of blindness and visual impairments, and a passion for working with students with varying needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students.
  • Provide training and support for staff on how to best accommodate students with vision impairments.
  • Engage with parents to support their involvement in their child's learning journey.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in assistive technology and inclusive education practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education
  • Specialized training in teaching students with vision impairments is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a teaching role with relevant students, ideally with a focus on visual impairments.
Technical Skills
