Bridge Instructor

Job Description

The Bridge Instructor will be responsible for teaching individuals and groups how to play bridge, while improving their skills and knowledge of the game. You will create engaging lesson plans that cater to varying skill levels, ensuring players grasp the fundamentals and advanced techniques.

Responsibilities

• Teach bridge classes to individuals and groups.
• Conduct workshops and seminars for advanced players.
• Provide expert advice on bidding, card play, and strategies.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress consistently.
• Supervise and organize bridge tournaments.
• Attend relevant conferences and training sessions to improve teaching methodologies.
• Utilize technology and digital platforms for instruction.
• Develop relationships with students to enhance learning.
• Meet flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in education, sports, or related field
• Bridge coaching certification preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in bridge or a related field preferred

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Working with Children Check

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Organising Tournaments: Demonstrated history of planning and executing bridge tournaments.
