Job Description

As a Spindle Setter, you will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing processes. Based in Melbourne, your responsibilities will include setting up spindles, monitoring outputs, and performing routine maintenance. Ideal candidates will bring strong mechanical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, making sure that operations run smoothly and product quality is never compromised.

Responsibilities

• Adjust spindle settings to meet production specifications.
• Collaborate with quality control to resolve defects promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of machinery best practices and safety standards.
• Assist in the implementation of new technology and processes.
• Document maintenance tasks and report any machinery failures.
• Provide feedback on tool and equipment effectiveness.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production objectives.
• Monitor the work environment for safety hazards.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing machinery setup.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machinery Operation
• Preventive Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent
