Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Anesthesiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement anesthesia protocols tailored to individual patients.
  • Conduct post-operative follow-ups to assess patient recovery.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate the training and mentoring of junior staff and medical students.
  • Evaluate and recommend updates to anesthesia equipment and protocols.
  • Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving anesthesia practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialist qualification in Anesthesiology
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Anesthesiologist
Technical Skills
  • Expert knowledge of anesthesia protocols
  • Proficient with anesthesia equipment
Soft Skills
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Strong patient care orientation
Certifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
Languages
