Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Feeder and Offbearer to oversee the operation and maintenance of printing machines. The successful candidate will ensure that production runs efficiently by managing materials and conducting quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and operation of printing machines, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
• Assist in inventory management of printing supplies and materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members to enhance production processes.
• Document production logs and report any concerns to supervisors.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and environmental regulations.
• Support training of new team members on equipment operation.
• Implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Printing & Graphic Arts
• Advanced training in manufacturing processes is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a similar role in Australia: Prior experience working in the Australian printing industry is an asset.
