We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Wollongong team. You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to design and implement effective electrical solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical schematics for various applications.
• Engage in the testing and evaluation of electrical systems for performance and reliability.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Document all stages of project development and provide updates.
• Advise clients on electrical engineering solutions and innovations.
• Optimize existing electrical systems to enhance efficiency.
• Lead project meetings and provide technical presentations.
• Mentor and guide junior staff in engineering practices.
• Review and approve designs and specifications prior to project commencement.
• Manage project budgets and ensure resource efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Power Systems or related field is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in electrical design and implementation

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced programming skills in MATLAB or Python: Proficiency in using MATLAB or Python for engineering simulations.
• Experience with SCADA systems: Knowledge of SCADA systems and their applications in monitoring.
