Photographic Process Workers and Processing Machine Operators

Job Description

As a Photographic Process Worker, you'll operate and maintain state-of-the-art color printers to produce high-quality prints for various clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in printing processes.

Responsibilities

• Run printing machinery and manage the production of various print materials.
• Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise during the printing process.
• Conduct quality checks on printed products and adjust settings as necessary.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of printing materials and equipment.
• Support the team in achieving production targets and deadlines.
• Document processes and results for quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Printing or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in color printing operations, with a focus on large format printing preferred

Technical Skills

• Large format printing
• Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Time management

Certifications

• OH&S Certification
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Mac operating systems: Experience using Mac for printing processes and design tasks.
• Experience with variable data printing: Knowledge of printing techniques that allow for personalization in print jobs.
