Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to orchestrate our projects in Launceston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with various stakeholders, manage a talented team, and navigate the complexities of construction regulations. Our projects range from residential builds to commercial developments, making every day unique and rewarding.

Responsibilities

  • Draft project plans and schedules in alignment with client specifications.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.
  • Facilitate collaboration between various teams including construction, design, and engineering.
  • Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Conduct progress reviews and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and zoning regulations.
  • Mentor and guide junior project staff in best practices.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of safety and accountability on-site.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Project Management or related field is preferred
