Bus and Truck Mechanic

Job Description

As a Bus Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair buses, ensuring they are in safe, working condition. You will collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues, keeping the fleet operational and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and maintenance of the fleet to ensure high reliability.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and processes.
• Stay current with industry regulations and safety practices.
• Communicate with suppliers for parts procurement.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Provide expert guidance on technical issues.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
• Additional certifications in diesel mechanics are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance.
