Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician who will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining lightning protection systems for various structures across Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical tests on installed systems to ensure functionality.
• Actively monitor and identify performance issues with lightning protection systems.
• Document all installations and maintenance activities in accordance with company protocols.
• Utilize AutoCAD for design blueprints as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Lightning Protection Installation

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in the electrical field, especially in lightning rod installation.

Technical Skills

• Technical Drawing Interpretation
• Power Tools Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Customer Service Orientation

Certifications

• Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to travel frequently: Willingness to travel for project sites when necessary.
• Familiarity with project management and scheduling software: Experience with tools like MS Project or similar.
