Job Description

As a Postsecondary Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering engaging lectures, and assessing student progress to ensure an enriching learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and regularly update curricula and teaching materials.
• Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere while managing classroom dynamics.
• Assess and analyse student progress and performance through various evaluation methods.
• Foster student motivation through innovative teaching practices and mentorship.
• Engage in continuous improvement and curriculum enhancement initiatives.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to institutional strategies.
• Maintain effective communication with students and parents where necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in educational technologies and apply them effectively in teaching.
• Engage in research activities to contribute to the academic community.
• Mentor junior teaching staff and provide support in lesson planning.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Education or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience in teaching a diverse student population is highly advantageous.
