Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tree Trimmer and Pruner, also known as a Tree Surgeon, to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tree care, excellent pruning techniques, and the ability to assess tree health accurately.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate trees for health and safety, performing necessary pruning and removal tasks.
• Manage equipment and tools necessary for tree care safely and effectively.
• Stay updated on best practices in arboriculture and environmental sustainability.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Assist in training junior staff in safe tree care practices.
• Develop reports related to tree health and customer recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Horticulture or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tree care or a related field

• Advanced Tree Risk Assessment Certification
