Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Acute Care Nurse to provide essential care in fast-paced clinical settings. Your role will involve close patient monitoring, administering medications, and offering support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and prepare patients for cardiac interventions.
  • Administer IV medications and monitor vital signs continuously.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Document and manage patient care plans within electronic systems.
  • Facilitate patient discharge planning and rehabilitation processes.
  • Participate in professional development and training programs.
  • Advocate for the needs of patients and their families.
  • Engage in performance reviews and quality assessments of nursing practices.
  • Assist in training and mentorship of junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Postgraduate specialization in cardiac care preferred
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in a high acuity nursing environment.
