Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our dynamic team in Bendigo. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, problem-solving skills, and a passion for design excellence. You will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, collaborating with clients, and ensuring that designs meet their needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for various architectural projects, incorporating innovative ideas.
• Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on project vision and goals.
• Prepare and present project proposals, including design concepts and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior architects and interns, providing guidance on design principles and project management.
• Conduct reviews of project sites, assessing for quality control and adherence to design intent.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architecture, including project management

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling Software
• Building Codes and Regulations

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Accredited Professional in Architecture
• Building Design Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Specific Software Tools: Proficient with software tools such as ArchiCAD and Rhino.
• Experience in Urban Design Projects: Hands-on experience in urban design and planning projects.
