Cartographic Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Cartographic Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and producing high-quality maps that meet specific requirements, utilising various mapping software and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality maps tailored to client specifications.
• Integrate and analyse GIS data to ensure optimal mapping solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality and accuracy of cartographic products.
• Contribute to workflow improvements within the mapping department.
• Stay updated on advancements in GIS and cartography technologies.
• Develop training materials and assist other team members as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cartography, Geography, or a related field
• Master's degree in GIS or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cartography and GIS applications.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Geospatial Data Analysis

• Analytical Skills
• Project Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Large-Scale Mapping Projects: Experience working on large-scale mapping projects with complex geospatial data.
