Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Audiovisual Equipment Installer and Repairer to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of video recording equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our clients in the media and broadcasting industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Document all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet client expectations.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Implement quality control measures for equipment.
• Work with clients to understand their equipment needs and provide solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or certificate in electrical or electronics technology

Experience

• Experience in repairing audiovisual equipment

Technical Skills

• Electronic Systems Knowledge
• Collaboration

Soft Skills

• Flexibility and Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific types of video recorders: Familiarity with brands such as Sony Betacam.
• Experience in a broadcasting or media production environment: Previous work in broadcasting or media will be an asset.
